Welp, we're getting closer and closer to our launch and... we're just a TAD over-budget. 😬

Womp womp. How much have we spent, you ask? You'll have to watch this week's build diary to find out.

This week we talk about some bigger expenses that popped up with the customer dashboard, why it's so important to stay organized near the end of a project, how to ignore vanity metrics on YouTube and... are we going to hit our original May 1st deadline?

We're now entering a phase of this project where all the balls are in the air being juggled at one time. It's exciting to see things really coming together, but it's also a challenge to keep it all running smoothly!

We're getting some fresh air next week!

We've had a family vacation planned next week for some time, so we're doing our best to get everything to a place where we can take it much easier next week, re-charge our batteries and come back to the final stretch with a refreshed perspective. Now that we're basically a month into this process, we're welcoming a nice week-long pause, though we'll still have posts going up here on the blog and we'll still be communicating with our developers if we need to. Working hard is a required part of making a dream a reality, but it's much more sustainable when you're making sure to carve out that time for all the things that fill your "life" bucket up too!
